Glenn’s musical journey started at the age of 10 years old with his first guitar. It wasn’t long until he was a performing musician. After many years of experience touring in the Midwest as a professional, Glenn moved west to California to complete his musical education attending and graduating from Musicians Institute of Technology. He studied with such greats as Steve Trovato, Paul Gilbert, and Ted Greene and learned to master many styles including Rock, Blues, Country and Jazz. He strongly believes in the importance of music basics. Reading, technique, theory, chords, scales and improvisation are all part of his classes. Fluent in many music styles Glenn is the perfect choice for both beginning and advanced students who want to learn Rock, Country, Blues, Slide Guitar or Jazz.
Instruments taught: Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Slide Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, and Beginning Violin.
Paula Ramirez’s greatest asset as a performing musician and music instructor is being a multi-instrumentalist. She is also known and respected by her peers as a top notch vocalist. Her versatile instrumental expertise includes the Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Mandolin, Piano, Voice, Flute, Clarinet, and Sax. Originally from Michigan, she has lived in the Los Angeles area since 1998. She is a current understudy with some well known and respected guitarists in the San Fernando and Antelope Valley. Paula is the bassist, vocalist, and co-leader of the blues group Bluecifer. She enjoys live performance, songwriting, and is currently working on other solo projects. She is also working on expanding her career beyond Bluecifer to the country rock band, Marshall Law. Paula has been a well known and established teacher in the San Fernando and Antelope Valley for many years, not only because of her knowledge and teaching skills, but for her patience and love for her students. Her goal is to help anyone achieve the joy of music that she, herself, has enjoyed throughout her own life… making Hendricks Music a great choice for your learning experience.
